Executive Team

Doug MacFarlane is the President and CEO of ITC Construction Group.  He is a graduate of UBC’s civil engineering program, has been in the Vancouver Construction industry since 1988 and with ITC for the past 15 years.   Doug is a registered member of the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and a Director of the Vancouver Regional Construction Association.

Doug is responsible for managing the long-term strategy and day-to-day operations at ITC.  Doug keeps his finger on the pulse of Vancouver and Calgary’s new construction market and works closely with developers to ensure their vision and metrics for their properties are realized through the sound construction of the project. 
His knowledge and capability has helped ITC Construction Group become one of B.C.’s largest General Contractors and one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies for seven consecutive years. 

ITC Construction Group opened its regional office in Calgary in 2004.  Al Stowkowy is the Executive Vice President Alberta Division who has been in the construction industry since graduating with a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1977.

Al is responsible for the strategic managing of operations, overseeing the construction, financial management and human resources requirements for multiple projects in the province of Alberta.  His diverse background and expertise will enable ITC to grow in its market share in the core skill of high rise residential construction and expand service offerings to other key sectors including commercial and institutional projects.
 

Brad Burnett is the Director of Business Development for ITC Construction Group.  After achieving a diploma in Building Engineering Technology – Economics Option at BCIT, Brad has acquired over 12 years of experience with estimating, contract negotiation and cost analysis in both the Vancouver and Calgary construction markets.  He is also a Gold Seal Certified Estimator.

Brad is responsible for managing the business development and preconstruction process for the BC and Alberta region.  He possesses solid experience in residential and commercial construction with an emphasis on value-engineering, design-assist and design-build projects. 
 

Rick is responsible for overseeing ITC projects in regional operating divisions ensuring the execution of work is carried out in compliance with ITC systems with a focus on supervision and quality control.  Rick is a key member of the ITC team having proven his management skills through many years of work as a Superintendent and concrete high-rise specialist.  As Vice President of Operations Rick provides leadership and overall supervision, monitoring and scheduling of field operations to assure compliance with Construction Contracts, Budgets, Schedules, Quality Assurance, and the ITC Health and Safety Program.
